Terms of the Cumino CV service
For people who create their CV with the Cumino assistant. Terms of ALFERCOM SRL
Version 1.1 of 20 October 2026
This is a translation. In case of differences, the Italian text prevails. Read the text in Italian
1. Who we are and what the service is
Cumino is a service of ALFERCOM S.r.l., Via Altinate 125, 35121 Padova, P.IVA IT05068010288, REA PD-440530, PEC [email protected], e-mail [email protected] ("we").
With Cumino you create and update your curriculum vitae by talking or writing to a virtual assistant, on WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram or in the Cumino app. The assistant is an artificial intelligence, and it says so in its first message. These terms govern the service.
How the contract is concluded. The assistant, or the app, shows you the privacy notice and these terms. When you press "Request the CV", you accept them and request the service: the contract between you and us is concluded at that moment, with no further steps. Before pressing, there is nothing to fill in: you give the information for the CV afterwards, and you can correct it in every version of the CV. We keep a record of your request (the text you saw, the version of these terms, the language, the date) for 5 years after the end of the service. The text of every version remains published at cumino.com/legal.
These terms are written in Italian and translated into the languages of the assistant. If a translation does not match the Italian, the Italian applies.
2. The service is free
The CV service costs nothing. Cumino does not ask you for money, not for the CV, not to apply, not for an interview. It is paid for by the companies that use Cumino for their hiring. If someone asks you for money in Cumino's name, it is not Cumino: write to us about it.
3. What Cumino does
- It collects what you tell the assistant (contact details, work experience, education, skills, languages and, if you send it, your photo) and turns it into a CV, which you read, correct and download as a PDF.
- It keeps the CV in your profile, so you can find it again and update it without starting over.
- If you apply to a company's campaign, it sends the CV to that company. Applying is your own act: you do it with "Apply", after reading the company's privacy notice, and you can withdraw it.
- Only if you choose so, with a separate consent ("further recruitment campaigns"), it keeps your profile to offer you other campaigns of the companies that use Cumino, according to the preferences you indicate. A company receives your name and contact details only when you apply to its campaign.
4. What it does not do
- It does not find a job by itself and does not promise you will be hired.
- It does not send your CV to a company without an application from you.
- It does not decide in place of people: the artificial intelligence writes the CV and compares it with what a campaign asks for, but the choice is always made by a person at the company.
- It does not do the selection: the companies that use Cumino run their own selections, with their own rules and their own privacy notice.
5. What we ask of you
- To be at least 16 years old, the minimum working age in Italy. If you are under 16, do not request the CV: the service is not for you.
- To give us true information and to update it if it changes: the CV is read by people who decide on the basis of what is written in it.
- To use the service for yourself, to look for a job: one profile per person, no data of other people, no offensive or unlawful content.
6. The CV is yours
What you tell us and the CV that comes out of it are yours. You only give us permission to use them to provide the service: write the CV, keep it in your profile, send it to the companies you apply to. Cumino's software, its texts and its trademark are ours.
7. How long it lasts and how it ends
The contract has no expiry date: it lasts as long as you use the service, and it ends in one of these ways.
- If you close your profile, with "Close my profile" on the "Your data" page of the app or with
/revocain the assistant: Cumino no longer creates or updates the CV. We ask you whether you want us to keep your profile on hold for 6 months, to pick up where you left off: if you say no, the profile leaves Cumino immediately; if you do not answer, it leaves after 3 days; if you say yes, it leaves after 6 months. - If you do not use Cumino for 12 months: 30, 15 and 7 days before the 12 months expire, we write to you, by e-mail or on the channel you use, to ask whether you want to keep the CV and the profile. A yes from the link, or a message to the assistant, is enough: the 12 months start again. If you do not answer, the profile is closed and 3 days later it leaves.
- If you ask for your data to be deleted, with
/deleteor from the "Your data" page: we delete everything about you; only what the privacy notice says remains is kept (the proof of your choices and an anonymous record for statistics). - In the 14 days after requesting the CV, you may also withdraw from the contract (art. 52 of the Italian Consumer Code, Codice del consumo): just close your profile or write to us. The effect is the same as "Close my profile".
- If we close the service, we tell you at least 30 days before, so that you can download the CV.
What remains after the profile leaves, and for how long, is set out in the privacy notice.
8. What we are responsible for
We provide the service with care. It is free and runs through WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram and the suppliers we use: it may have interruptions or errors, and we fix them as soon as we can. For the conformity of the service, the rules of the Consumer Code on digital content and digital services (articles 135-octies and following) apply, even though you do not pay.
We are not responsible for what companies do with your application, nor for how they decide: those are their choices, under their own privacy notice.
The rights the law gives to anyone who uses a service as a consumer remain intact: these terms do not affect them.
9. Your data
How we process your data, how long we keep it and what rights you have is set out in Cumino's privacy notice for candidates, which you find next to these terms and at any time with /privacy. To create the CV we do not ask you for consent: the processing is needed to do what you ask us to do. Consent is requested only for further recruitment campaigns. Statistics on the use of Cumino are made on anonymous data, without your name and without your CV.
10. If we change these terms or the service
We may change these terms, or the service, for these reasons: a law, an authority or a court requires it; the channels (WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, the app) or the suppliers change; we add, change or remove features; it is needed for security. We tell you in the app or in the assistant at least 30 days before, with what changes. If you keep using the service after that date, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can close your profile before then.
11. Law and courts
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you reside in another country of the European Union, the rules of that country that protect you and that cannot be waived still apply. For any dispute, the competent court is that of the place where you reside or are domiciled. Before going to court, you may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body for consumers (ADR), as provided by the Consumer Code.
12. Contacts
For the service: write to the assistant, to [email protected] or from the contact form at cumino.com/contatti. For your data and your rights: [email protected].
